Disciplinary record to Arthur. The player ends his professional relationship with Barça after traveling Brazil without the club’s permission, not showing up for training at the Ciudad Deportiva, not submitting to the COVID test and demanding the termination of his contract. The Barça directive will file the footballer for his act of rebellion.
Arthur declares war on Barça
The Brazilian player has decided to declare war on almighty Barça. The Brazilian midfielder was absent from training yesterday and this morning he has not undergone the coronavirus test. Arthur Melo has no intention of returning to a team in which he does not feel valued, nor does he enjoy minutes on the field. From Brazil he has asked the club to terminate his contract. The midfielder believes that his time as a Barcelona player has ended and that continuing to be part of the club’s squad makes no sense.
However, the behavior and the forms of the Brazilian have not done the Barcelona directive anything good. The club does not intend to yield to the player’s demands and has already placed the player’s file in the hands of the entity’s legal services.
For the Catalan club, the player’s way of proceeding is inadmissible and they consider that Arthur Melo could have ended his contractual relationship with the club in a friendly way.
Last June, Barcelona reached an agreement with Juventus to transfer the player at the end of the season. The club is not satisfied with the performance of the player and the delays of the last few hours only make the situation worse.
Thus Barça will file the footballer for his act of rebellion and the internal code of the club will be applied to him. Arthur Melo will be financially convicted. Regardless of what happens, what is certain is that the professional image of the player is very battered after this episode. The footballer has not wanted to speak publicly about it and at the moment, he has no intention of returning to Barcelona.
